Effective 30 September 2026 · applies to the S Solver browser extension (v3.1 and later)
S Solver has no servers and no accounts. Everything it keeps stays in your own browser. The only time data leaves your computer is when you ask the AI a question, and then it goes straight to the AI company you picked, using your own API key.
✓ No analytics · no tracking · no ads · nothing sold| API key & model | The key you paste in the settings and the AI model you choose. Kept in Chrome's local extension storage. |
| Answer history | Sparx answers you solved, so you can look them up for bookwork checks. |
| Answer memory | Seneca answers that Seneca itself marked correct, so repeat questions are answered right. |
| Word bank | Words you look up and save on Seneca. |
| Settings & stats | Theme, panel size, dock side and the counters in the stats row. |
The question text, its answer options and the reading text shown with it. For Sparx picture questions, an image of the question area. For a word look-up, the word and its sentence.
Only to the provider you chose: Groq, Anthropic or Google Gemini. Their privacy policies cover what they do with it.
S Solver only works on Sparx (sparxmaths.uk, sparxmaths.com, sparx-learning.com) and Seneca (app.senecalearning.com). It cannot read any other website.
Use "Reset stats" and "Clear all" in the panel, or remove the extension from chrome://extensions. Removing it deletes everything it stored.
S Solver is meant to be used by a pupil with a parent. It does not ask for names, emails, ages or school details, and it does not collect them.
